Hi every one :)
Today i'll write about my one day trip to the Odawara Castle,just one hour by bullet train from Ikebukuro. Absolutely I enjoyed this trip like you can see it from this picture!
Odawara has a long history like from Kamakura period.
The most famous clan is Hojo clan at Sengoku period.
Actually the Odawara castle has destroyed in an big earthquake in1633 and 1703.
Over the years,This castle was rebuilt for several times.
The reconstructed Odawara Castle was listed as one of the "100 fine castle of Japan" by Castle Foundation in 2006.
The castle is absolutely beautiful.
There are history museum inside of the castle and from top of castle、you can get a goooood view of the Odawara city.
Rental kimonos was available there just for few hundreds yen.
me and my friends dressed like "samurai"and princess,took some funny pics act like historical play.
This castle is near a seacoast,so you can also enjoy shopping and eating seafood ;)
