There is lovely Hero in Japan, especially amongst young children.
ANPAN MAN!!!
Anpanman is a Japanese picture book series written by Takashi Yanase since 1973. The anime adaptation `Soreike! Anpanman(Let's Go! Anpanman)` is one of the most popular anime series.
He is not so well known and not so much popular in other country.
Not only Anpanman but also the other characters are loved much.
-Currypanman (カレーパンマン), Shokupanman (しょくぱんまん), Baikinman (ばいきんまん)、Dokin-chan (ドキンちゃん)
There is Anpanman museum in Yokohama.
