みなさんこんにちは!!
7月5日は待望の国際交流イベント!
カクテルナイト☆TANABATA
海外ゲストから "ワッツ タナバタ??"と聞かれた時の為に、英語でおさらいしておきましょう!!
Tanabata is coming soon.
In Japan, on July 7 every year.
It remains a habit of hanging on a bamboo leaf strips of colorful decorations and with a wish written on them.
And making a wish for the stars.
Also, there is a festival held in various parts of Japan.
There are several origins of Tanabata.
Today I would like to introduce one of them.
Tanabata is derived from the Chinese legend concerning two shining stars: Vega and Altair.
They fell in love with each other.
The time was too much fun, so they stopped working.
God was angry, and then separated them by the great river (Milky Way) .
He allowed that they meet across the Milky Way only on the night of July 7 each year.
On that day, we celebrate the reunion of them with ornaments and by decorating the Sasa strip.
It is believed that if you write a wish on a strip of paper, and hang on Sasa, that your wish will come true.
What do you wish?
