Well it`s coming up to my last week here at Sakura Cafe with everyone which is a little sad but it also means that for those of you who are studying Japanese and wish to maybe get some hands on experience then please apply here!!
You`ll also get a chance to work with some lovely people ^^
It`s now officially June and the terrace has been getting busier each night, especially on Tuesday when we held a television screening of the Japanese vs Australia football match which was a huge success in the respect that Japan managed to qualify for the 2014 World Cup!
It also means that we`ll have a few new drinks coming out too! Like our take on an ice cafe latte which will go on sale tomorrow. It`s a little sweeter than a normal cafe latte as we have added a shot of hazelnut syrup to it too. It also comes topped with whipped cream and chopped up chocolate to finish it`s look! I think that it`s one of those pefect drinks on a hot day, if, like me you need a little bit of caffine in your system but you`re not a fan of drinking hot drinks plus it feels a little luxurious because of the milk chocolate on top!
We also have started selling a new beer called Schofferhofer from Germany for only 750 yen. It`s a little different to most normal beers as it has been sweetened with the flavour of grapefruits. But it`s not the only flavoured beer we have here at the moment as we are also continuing on with our Sakura Beer and also another beer which is flavoured with apples. All of these beers are a little easier to drink and are proving themselvesto a continued favourite amongst our female guests!
We also have a small seclection of snacks that will go perfectly with any beer, our most popular one being a calzones, which are basically mini folded pizzas, and which comes in two flavours of cheese and bacon or chicken and basil. We of course also have tortilla chips for those of you who are drinking with friends and would like something simple and easy to share!
So if you`re interested in trying either of these then please come down and spend the afternoon which us here at Sakura Cafe Ikebukuro!!
